Pioneer’s Foundation
Already with years of experience in the bulk-material handling business, company founder Wayne Linderman was growing concerned with what he identified as two industry-wide problems: low commitment to quality and needless red-tape that habitually left customers in a bind. He had a vision for an equipment company that knew how to put customer needs first and serve them with custom, quality solutions instead of cookie-cutter products.
From this vision, Wayne founded Pioneer Systems in 2015 with just a few dedicated team members. Over the past few years, that team has grown to be over a dozen, and Pioneer provides services to hundreds of clients, including some of the world’s largest companies.
Our growth continues to be largely driven by our dedication to quality products and services, as portrayed by our company values.
About President & Founder Wayne Linderman
Wayne’s passion for mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems took root during his time in the US Army where he served as an Aviation Officer piloting CH-47D Chinook helicopters. His aptitude as a pilot gained him a spot in the Aviation Maintenance Officer and Maintenance Test Pilot program, where he quickly earned the respect and recognition of peers and superiors as a leader in his craft.
Since leaving the Army, Wayne has held leadership, operational and key development positions across several industries including automotive, plastics, aerospace and bulk material handling. During that time, he has gained an incredible breadth of engineering, manufacturing, sales and business knowledge for die casting, fabrication, plastics, aviation, automation and bulk material handling industries. He ultimately leveraged these 25 years of experience to found Pioneer Systems Group.
